15+ years’ experience

I have been a freelance English to Hungarian translator since 2004, specialising in social psychology, environmental issues, corporate communications, and self-help books. After writing book reviews for a publishing house during maternity leave, I submitted a test translation and got my first book to translate. Dozens of books later, I completed a post-graduate professional translator course at Corvinus University. In 2021, I became a member of CIOL.

I have extensive experience in the language services industry: apart from being a freelance translator, I also worked as an in-house translator for a couple of years, and as a project manager for two translation companies. Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of text types, targeting various audiences.

I have had the opportunity to help multinational companies and online streaming sites reach their Hungarian customers. My clients include translation agencies from 3 continents, as well as marketing agencies, media companies, public bodies, publishing houses, and individuals.
